Lake Powell Trip

So my family had the bright idea to go to lake powell the summer I'm pregnant (I'm not bitter... I swear.... ;)  ) Anyways even though I hit the start of my third trimester when we arrived it was still really, really fun. We did a bit of traveling and I was way excited to see the cool things like rainbow bridge and little indian huts. I didn't take a lot of pictures so here are a few.....
This was in the parking lot at the walmart in Page... talk about 'white trash'  :)
We had a couple little storms hit us while we were there, but they didn't last long at they looked really cool against the mountains
We hiked to Rainbow Bridge even though it rained on us the whole way up. It was perfect cause the sun wasn't trying to melt us and made it bearable for my sexy fit husband to drag his white whale of a wife up the trail.

This is the view from where we had to hike up a mountain to see the indian huts... really high!!
This is one of the little huts that were up there. We started to climb up with some of my family and it wasn't to hard until we hit a spot where the mountain went straight up and the only way to get to the other part of the trail was to climb the so called 'stairs'. The stairs were little dents in the rock, about 15 of them. I thought to myself.. if my four year old cousin can do it I should be fine, right? HA! I went up about three dents and realized my booda belly and my fear of heights were to powerful to finish. So chase went up with everyone else and me, my mom and my sister (I wasn't the only chicken) decided we choose life.. not death.
Trying to fish... mostly just pretending for the kids sake.
Chase surfing
My brother surfing
Dad proving he's a wicked awesomest grandpa dude!
Me trying to surf. LOL. Surfing is pretty easy and when you fall it doesn't hurt so I figured I would try it... I could hardly pull my big butt out of the water. My wimpy arms and off balance body didn't work so gracefully together. But it was fun to try. he he.
Playing horseshoes on the beach
So thrilled to be watching horseshoes.... :)

All and all the trip was a blast! (Even though I was pregnant)

Package or no Package? That is the question.

Well if you couldn't tell from the video, we are for sure having a boy!! We found out today that Baby Rogers has baby junk. The arrow will point out the cord and then move to show his cute lil goodies. He for sure wasn't afraid to show them off either. He is so freakin' cute. I think he is going to be just like his daddy and have a spunky personality. He wiggled and kicked the whole time we were lookin' at him. He gave us the i love you hand sign, waved, mooned us(on several occasions), sucked his hand and then his foot and gave us a ridiculously cute yawn and played peek-a-boo through his legs at the end. The Ultrasound tech said everything looks great and said his size is showing he is a week ahead of the due date. So that puts us at November 17th.  We are going to name him Kael. We haven't thought of a middle name yet. Any suggestions? Chase is so excited that he got his boy like he wanted. :) Dang boys. Now I'm going to be out numbered. Anyways I have had a couple people ask to do a belly picture so here is that too. Hope everyone enjoys the video.

Baby News

So I went to the doctor today and wanted to share the news. Last appointment they said we might do an ultrasound to find out the sex of the baby, or wait until my July appt. Chase was a little worried that he was going to miss out because he had to go to a scout outing. My doctor said I they like to do it somewhere between 17 and 20 and I was only 16 weeks. He said instead of making me wait five weeks until my next appt to come back in two weeks and they will do an ultrasound. So we will find out what we are having in two weeks not five. Yay! Other than that is was a routine check up. I got to hear the heartbeat for the first time and it was pretty cool. It sounded so quite and fast. Doctor said things looked good. It still hasn't hit me yet that I'm really pregnant. I just feel fat right now instead of pregnant. Maybe once I start feeling the baby move it will be different. Anyhoo, always good to hear good news. :)

Little boy at heart

Ok, so if you didn't already know that my hubby really is a little boy at heart here is the proof.

We were hanging out at my parents house watching tv and it was getting a little late. My mom and me were still awake and my mom started giggling. I looked to see what she was giggling at and this is what I saw. Chase hugging one of my brothers toy guns. It was so freakin' cute. We thought he really loves his toys or he was afraid someone was going to steal his gun. Becky here's some proof that he really is still your baby boy.

Baby Update

We had our second Dr. appointment today so I wanted to update everyone on the news. We went in just for the small check up and listen to the heartbeat. We were having a had time trying to find it because my heartbeat was really loud and fast, so we did an ultrasound. It made us all laugh because the baby had the wiggles. It was doing a little worm dance and kickin its feet around. Dr. says everything is going good, it's got a heartbeat and it's active(hence the wiggle dance). We were really excited to hear the good news and well keep everyone posted on more updates.
